Description

From the center of Fieberbrunn you bike along the river "Fieberbrunner Ache" until the public swimming pool. Here you cross over the bridge, turn right to the main street and then left towards "Gebraweg / Pletzergraben". Follow the road until you reach the crossing "Herrgottbrücke" after about 6 km (Up to here 250 m uphill / 55 min / difficulty medium / gravel road).

At the crossing you turn right and continue partly over steeper sections up to the top of the trail at "Lachtalhöhe" (1.673m). From here you bike down to the alpine hut Lämmerbichlalm (1.553 m). End of tour 251 ( total 13.6 km / 880 m uphill / 2h40 min / difficulty hard).

The Lämmerbichlalm is also an alpine diary. You have to taste the self-made chees, the butter, the bread and all the other delicious things before you retourn to Fieberbrunn.
 

Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    By bus: Bus connection from Ellmau / Kitzbühel / St. Johann i.T. / Lofer and within the PillerseeTal region. Bus stop Fieberbrunn centre. Free of charge with guest card. Limited bicycle transport possible.
    By train: Train connection from Wörgl to Hochfilzen (regional trains). Free of charge with guest card. Fieberbrunn railway station. Journey time to the Gebraweg / Pletzergraben junction is approx. 10 min.
