Description
On this route, you’ll rack up 22.5 km, 999 meters of elevation gain and descent, breathtaking views, and alpine huts—lots and lots of alpine huts!
The start and end point of the Schölder M Enduro tour is the Freizeit Arena in the center of Sölden. Facing the Freizeit Arena, you start to the right and follow the Ötztal Cycle Path 11 until you reach the valley station of the Gaislachkogelbahn. Once there, turn right to reach the B186 main road and follow it until the junction where the Glacier Road branches off. From here, continue right up the steep Glacier Road, and after two switchbacks, leave the road and turn left onto Infangstraße.
You’ll climb along the Gaislach MTB Route (644) until you reach the mid-station of the Gaislachkogelbahn. Just past the mid-station and the stone arch, the 6005 Eebme Line begins on the right. You won’t ride the entire Eebme Line—about halfway down, turn left onto the Bartigs Bödele Line, which leads to the toll station of the Glacier Road.
From there, continue onto the Schlender Line 6060. At Gampe Alm, switch briefly onto the Gampe Alm MTB Route (643), which descends back to the Hochsölder Straße. Once you reach the road, turn left for the final climb leading to the entrance of the Leiterberg Trail.
The Leiterberg Trail is a challenging ride through the forest—with a perfect stop for a break along the way! Finally, the LETTN LINE brings you back down to Sölden and the Giggijochbahn.
