Beautiful, demanding circular tour around the Daniel mountain
The cycle path starts after the viaduct arch at the Shell petrol station in Ehrwald in the direction of Garmisch on the left side of the valley, past the Schanz to Griesen. Cross the main road here and follow the gravel road on the right, with a small ascent over serpentines, through the Neidernachtal valley towards Plansee. Cross the road at Hotel Forelle and follow the Plansee panorama trail above the main road to Hotel Seespitze. Use the bridge over the canal on the left and follow route no. 887 (shared trail) to Heiterwanger See and continue towards Heiterwang. After Lake Heiterwang, continue to the first bridge over the stream, then turn left along the stream to the panorama trail to Bichlbach. On the left side of the valley, follow the panorama trail route no. 832 to Bichlbach, continue to Wengle and Lähn as far as Lermoos. After a short descent past the panorama pool, you reach the Via Claudia cycle path. Follow this to the Loisach bridge in Moos, then turn left and return to the starting point.
