Route description:
This family-friendly bike tour traverses the scenic Leutasch Valley from the starting point at the Weidachbrücke parking lot (P8) for almost its entire length, visiting many family-friendly experiences along the way and finally rewarding you at Gasthof Brücke with tasty delicacies and refreshments, ice cream specialties, yet another children's playground, a barefoot trail and a family photo spot for lasting memories. The entire route is newly signposted and equipped with emergency call boards and rescue points for added safety.
With only one road crossing, the entire route runs without any ascents along the turquoise-blue Leutascher Ache. Not far from the starting point at the Weidachbrücke there are also two bike service and rental points. On the shady and wide gravel roads along the Ache, families with children can enjoy a particularly safe and versatile family bike adventure.

Directly from the Weidach bridge, start northeast on the gravel path, reaching theadventure playground Leutascher Ache (Erlebnisspielplatz Leutascher Ache) after just a few minutes. Here, young and old explorers can expect not only a variety of climbing and playing opportunities as well as freely rotatingsunbeds, but also a direct access to the Leutascher Ache: For joint water games, dam studies and an all-natural Kneipp-experience for all ages. From the playground at the Ache, the family-friendly bike tour continues along  the signposted “bikeroute 537” through the cozy Leutasch hamlets - and shortly after Ahrn also passes the picturesque Flämenwandlclimbing area, where one might be lucky to observe some brave climbers and enjoy a leisurely rest.
 
In Reindlau, the cycle path then briefly reaches the main road, bypasses the campsite and shortly after changes back to the gravel path along the Ache. Past Lochlehn and Unterkirchen, the path leads pleasantly shady under the trees until the turnoff to Gasthof Brücke. Turn off here and cross the Leutasch meadows for well-deserved refreshments with home-style specialties on the sun terrace. Here too, kids are well occupied at the children's playground, can test their sensitivity on the barefoot path or pose for snapshots with their parents at the family photo spot.
 
Those who want to continue this brilliant family adventure a little further, will find three spectacular paths through the mysterious Leutascher Geisterklamm (ghost gorge) just a little down the valley, can fish for dinner at the Weidachsee on the way back, enjoy a few action-packed downhill runs at the Katzenkopf Leutasch bike park or a family-friendly water world including a wellness retreat at the ErlebnisWelt Alpenbad Leutasch.
