Tyrolean delicacies, a sun terrace with a view of the Stubai Alps and an e-bike charging station - the tour to the Amberger Hütte is neither too steep nor too long and is perfect as an e-bike tour.
This tour leads from Längenfeld through the Sulztal valley to the Amberger Hütte at 2,134 m on asphalt or gravel. Not only the idyllic and peculiar Sulztal valley on the Breite Grießkogel offers numerous impressive views of the peaks of the Stubai Alps, but of course also the Amberger Hütte. Here you can also recharge your e-bike battery.
The starting point is at the Längenfeld sports center. From here, cycle towards the main road, turn right before the fire station and follow the short ascent to the Fischbach stream. Cross the bridge there and turn left again to the main road, which you also cross. Cycle along the Fischbach stream to a bridge, cross it and continue through the forest. After a while, you reach a bridge where you can already see the village of Gries. Cycle through the village of Gries and past the parking lot. Continue along the gravel path until you reach a crossroads. Turn left towards Amberger Hütte, accompanied by a sea of alpine roses (in bloom from mid to late June) and follow the path along the beautiful Sulztal valley, always accompanied by the Fischbach stream. Passing the Vordere (managed) and Hintere (unmanaged) Sulztalalm, the high valley becomes increasingly barren. At 2,136 meters, the Amberger Hütte appears. Once at the top, you can enjoy the breathtaking panorama with several 3,000-meter peaks.
