Mountainbike-Tour 530 mountainbike Sattelalm

Gries am Brenner /
Difficulty ratings:
Route length: 4.0 km
Duration: 1:00 h

We like to meet up. Preferably on the mountain with good food. The Sattelbergalm is perfect for this: with a sun terrace, home-made alpine products and a magnificent view of the Stubai Alps. The ascent to the hut is short and easy, making it suitable for children and e-bikes.

Tour character

This medium-difficulty MTB tour runs along the border between North and South Tyrol. At the beginning, you cycle leisurely along the banks of a small stream before the route leads from Vinaders along a forest road through the forest up to the Sattelbergalm. The alpine pasture is located on a beautiful panoramic plateau at the foot of the Sattelberg and invites you to enjoy a refreshment stop.

Description

The MTB tour to the Sattelalm begins in Vinaders, directly above the church. The first ascent (steep asphalt road) already requires a certain amount of basic fitness, but soon the beautiful gravel forest path winds its way through the magnificent larch forests up to a saddle. From there you can already see the hut, and it is a leisurely walk along the saddle to the Sattelalm. The tour can be extended to the Gemende Brenner after South Tyrol.
