Description

From the starting point at the Festhalle you head for the village centre where you branch off to the right, cross the Ziller in the middle of the valley and continue to Hart. You ride uphill through the village and manage some twists and turns until you branch off left onto the Kapellweg. Here it becomes flatter, the route now runs parallel to the slope in gentle ups and downs over the sunny hay meadows about 300 metres above the valley floor. You can enjoy the view over the Zillertal valley as well as the extensive views into the Inntal valley. In total, there are just under 400 metres in altitude on this tour that have to be surmounted, which you can then descend back down to Bruck in one go. Shortly after leaving the village you cross the Ziller and ride back to Fügen via the Zillertal Cycle Path. On the way you pass the Schlitters bathing lake where you should allow time for a cooling dip on a hot summer day. Whether you take the plunge or not, you can enjoy a refreshment stop here in the café/restaurant and indulge in all sorts of delicacies while admiring the view of the lake.
