428 Fügen - Bruck - Kerschbaumersattel
The route starts from Fügen out of the valley on the Zillertal Cycle Path. You pass the villages of Hart and Schlitters and ride out of the valley heading north over meadows and fields until shortly before the confluence of the Ziller and Inn rivers. You cross the Ziller and ride in the opposite direction through Bruck and now face a long climb with a constant gradient up to Kerschbaumer saddle. The saddle with a height of 1,111m marks the transition between the Zillertal and Alpbachtal valleys. From here you coast downhill - still on asphalt - to Reith im Alpbachtal, the largest town in the valley. Several mountain bike tours in the Alpbachtal valley start from here, which you can join as you please. After leaving the village you face a short climb before reaching the Inntal valley at St. Gertraudi. You then come to the bridge over the Ziller, which you’ve already crossed on the way there, and now take the same route back to the starting point in Fügen. The tour is also a popular racing bike route due to the continuous asphalt surface.
