Mountainbike-Tour 415 Fügen - Brandegg - Kühstein - Goglhof

Description

From the starting point at the Festhalle in Fügen you set off along the main road heading north. Turn left shortly before the end of the village and head for Fügenberg. There now follows a climb which, after a short stretch of forest, leads over the sunny, rural slopes of Fügenberg. After a little more than 5km you turn left on a bend. A short descent leads past the last houses and you change onto a forest trail that - always heading south - crosses numerous small ditches. At the highest point of the tour you switch back onto asphalt and you now have a beautiful panoramic descent in front of you which leads via many sharp bends down to the Goglhof inn. Here, where in winter there are lots of tobogganers out and about, the route descends relatively steeply on a gravel surface, heading to Fügen. Extra caution is now required as there are usually lots of hikers in this area. The forest is Fügen’s local recreation area and has many attractions to offer such as a petting zoo, a themed trail and playgrounds.
