The small loop around the picturesque Kufstein Town Mountain leads into the Kaisergebirge Nature Reserve and along wide forest roads past the middle station of the Kaiserlift and the Hinterduxerhof, which invites you to stop for a meal. At the end of the tour, balance can be further trained at the Kufstein Motor Skills Park.
From Kufstein/Mitterndorf, the forest road ascends steeply in parts until the junction for Duxer Alm shortly after Krampuswand. The small town mountain loop turns left and passes by the middle station of the Kaiserlift and the Hinterduxerhof, where you can catch a breath of mountain air before continuing the descent back to Kufstein. From there, you ride a short distance back uphill on the asphalt road. Continuing along this road, you reach Kufstein, the starting point.
By train you get to Kufstein station. From there cross the Inn bridge, push through the old town and follow the Innweg along the fortress hill to its end. Turn left there and follow Mitterndorfer Straße up to the starting point at the town police station.
