Arrival by public transport
Take the train to Kufstein station. Then cycle along the Inn to the starting point at Innsteg Kufstein.

This excursion around the Thierberg, just past Hechtsee, is perfect for beginners and casual cyclists. Along the route, cyclists can stop at the Gasthaus Neuhaus for refreshments.
Starting from the Innsteg in Kufstein, go right under the highway bridge towards Gasthof Neuhaus (refreshment stop). Continuing along the asphalt road, head north until reaching a farm where the road seems to end. Ride through the farm and cross the meadow via a barely visible path, descending into the forest. Just before reaching the lake nestled in the woods, you'll join the access road. Keep right to reach the old, gravel Hechtseestraße, which leads back to the starting point.
Tip: On beautiful summer days, a short detour to Hechtsee is highly recommended.
