The challenging tour over the sports mountain of Kufstein rewards with numerous highlights. Be it the view of the fortress and the city, the enchanting nature in the Kaisergebirge nature reserve or the breathtaking view of the Wilder Kaiser towering over everything.
From Kufstein/Mitterndorf the tour leads along the forest road past the forest chapel and the Krampuswand to Berghaus Aschenbrenner and further along the panoramic path to the Brentenjochalm. The alp is known and popular for the "auszognen" noodles with Fisolensuppe as well as the heavenly Zillertaler Krapfen. Another stop is possible at the Weinbergerhaus, with great panoramic views, which, however, requires about 50 meters more altitude. From the Weinbergerhaus, returning a short distance along the same path leads back to the Brentenjoch, then veering left downhill towards the middle station of the Kaiserlift, to the Hinterduxerhof, which also invites for rustic refreshment. Between the middle station and Hinterduxerhof, the descent is partially very steep and technically challenging.Afterwards you reach the end point at the motor park in Kufstein via a tarred road. If you haven't had enough yet, you can loosen your calves and strengthen your muscles with a variety of exercises. As a variant, turn left after the Duxer Alm back to the starting point in Mitterndorf/ Kufstein. Along the route are some wonderful power spots that emphasize the natural scenery of the mighty Kaiser Mountains and invite you to consciously enjoy.
By train you get to Kufstein station. From there cross the Inn bridge, push the bike through the old town and follow the Innweg along the fortress hill to its end. Turn left there, pass the town police station and follow Mitterndorfer Straße up to the starting point.
