Description

The start of this demanding and extensive tour is at the valley station of the Gaisberg lift in Kirchberg i.T. The route initially runs slightly uphill on forest and hiking trails through various hamlets along the Aschauer Ache towards Aschau. Past the valley station of the Ki-West gondola lift, the route leads to the hamlet of Brügglbach, after which it turns right uphill. Through beautiful alpine meadows and shady forest, the route winds steadily uphill in serpentines on the Fortsweg. Once you have completed the route to the Hagleralmen, you come to the last steep hairpin bends - after a relaxing flat section - and you have reached your destination. The Brechhornhaus invites you to take refreshments before returning to the valley along the same route.
