Cross-Country Skiing

Cross-country skiing in the Kitzbühel Alps - Hohe Salve region

The Holiday Region Hohe Salve is part of the Kitzbühel Alps, which together form one of the largest cross-country skiing regions in Tirol with over 700 kilometres of trails. With over 60 kilometres of perfectly groomed cross-country trails, the Holiday Region Hohe Salve is a true cross-country skiing paradise.

The Angerberg-Mariastein area alone comprises around 30 kilometres of marked cross-country ski trails. Use of the cross-country ski trails is free of charge in all villages of the Holiday Region Hohe Salve.

Thanks to the highest quality of preparation, marking and environmental compatibility, the Angerberg cross-country skiing centre has been awarded the Tyrolean cross-country ski trail seal of approval. Those who are on cross-country skis for the first time can take part in an introductory course there every Tuesday at 6.30 pm with the athletes of the Angerberg cross-country skiing club (pre-booking in the info offices of the Holiday Region Hohe Salve by email to info@hohe-salve.com or by phone on +43.57507.7000).
