This 3.3-kilometre trail features varied climbs and descents. A highlight is the view of the historic Guggermühl.
The FIS Guggermühl Trail in Galtür, at 3.3 kilometres, is the second-longest of the homologated FIS trails. It first follows the loop towards Wirl and then shortcuts back after two-thirds of the way. It continues through the second loop to the Jambach and back to the starting point. Numerous climbs, turns, and descents provide exciting variety. The trail is named after the historic Guggermühl mill which you can see on the other side of the stream.
The FIS trails in Galtür offer challenging courses on homologated tracks within a stunning high-alpine setting. The trails are arranged in two loops from the western end of Galtür: one heads towards Wirl, while the other extends to the southern end of Galtür and the Jambach. The high alpine surroundings and the views of surrounding peaks, make these trails unique. The L.6 serves as the main trail, while L.6.1, L.6.2 and L.6.3 are variations with different lengths and levels of difficulty. Note: Trails may be temporarily closed for training or competitions.
With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Galtür Dorfplatz
