Description

The FIS Sprint Trail in Galtür is the shortest of the homologated FIS trails at 1.3 kilometres. It follows a loop towards the Jamtal and, with 44 metres of elevation gain, offers perfect conditions for sprints and quick training sessions. The trail shortcuts back to the start before the final section, making it ideal for practising speed and technique.

The FIS trails in Galtür offer challenging courses on homologated tracks within a stunning high-alpine setting. The trails are arranged in two loops from the western end of Galtür: one heads towards Wirl, while the other extends to the southern end of Galtür and the Jambach. The high alpine surroundings and the views of surrounding peaks, make these trails unique. The L.6 serves as the main trail, while L.6.1, L.6.2 and L.6.3 are variations with different lengths and levels of difficulty. Note: Trails may be temporarily closed for training or competitions.
