Description
The FIS Racing Trail in Galtür is the longest and most challenging of the four homologated FIS trails. Stretching 3.7 kilometres with 92 metres of elevation gain, it runs in two loops: one towards Wirl and one downstream to the Jambach. The route features numerous climbs and descents and offers a stunning alpine setting with alternating sun and shade. It’s perfect for training and competitions.
FIS trails in Galtür
The FIS trails in Galtür offer challenging courses on homologated tracks within a stunning high-alpine setting. The trails are arranged in two loops from the western end of Galtür: one heads towards Wirl, while the other extends to the southern end of Galtür and the Jambach. The high alpine surroundings and the views of surrounding peaks, make these trails unique. The L.6 serves as the main trail, while L.6.1, L.6.2 and L.6.3 are variations with different lengths and levels of difficulty. Note: Trails may be temporarily closed for training or competitions.
