The newly renovated biathlon shooting range in Sclamischot is the only biathlon facility in the Lower Engadine. It has a selection of circular trails up to 4 km.

Description

General description
The trails are racing trails that meet international IBU standards. Ambitious cross-country skiers will find a variety of well-groomed trails in both free and classic technique. Beginners can also tackle a 1 km circular trail in the area without any major technical challenges. 2 km of the trail are floodlit.
Route description
Cross the wooden bridge to Sclamischot. The trail connection for experienced skiers is immediately after the bridge. For beginners, we recommend walking 200 metres to the left after the bridge through the industrial zone and using the trail connection on the right-hand side in the area.
Description to arrive at destination
  • From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass to the Lower Engadine on H27
  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of St. Moritz on H27
  • From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofenpass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
  • Strada, turn off over the bridge to Sclamischot
Parking
  • Car park available in Sclamischot
Public transport
  • Take the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or Upper Engadine) and PostBus (from Tarasp, Sent or Ftan) to Scuol-Tarasp station
  • Continue by PostBus to the stop Strada i. E., Sclamischot
  • 500 metres to the biathlon facility

The trail is groomed regularly when conditions are good. Please note the condition reports in the winter sports report.

The tour was assessed in favourable weather conditions, the current snow and weather conditions must be taken into account before setting off.
