B5 cross-country ski trail Katzenloch: medium-difficulty trail with a beautiful panorama into the Inn Valley and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
The B5 Katzenloch Trail is currently groomed only from Mundeknie to Ropferstub'm!
Trail Entry:
Via the A5 Obern Trail, near the end of the loop, you will find the entrance to the B5 Katzenloch Trail.
Trail Character:
The trail begins with a steep and challenging ascent over Mundeknie, but the effort is well worth it. From there, the route continues gently and beautifully through the forest to Buchener Höhe, passing two charming treehouses before reaching Ropferstub'm. After Ropferstub'm, there is one more short ascent, followed by a delightful and gentle downhill return to the Moos parking lot.
The trail is a scenic route at the foot of the Hohe Munde between Buchen and Moos, rewarding skiers with stunning views of the Inntal and the surrounding mountain landscape.
