Characteristics
The Höfen - Wängle connecting trail, a picturesque route with panoramic views of the Naturparkregion Reutte, is more than just a functional link between the circuits in Höfener and Wängler Feld. It offers a harmonious cross-country skiing experience, suitable for both classic and partially for skating techniques.

The route starts at the Hirschbachalm, an idyllic winter magic cabin, and winds in an elegant "S" curve along the Hirschbach. Special highlights include crossing the Lainbach over a small, romantically appearing bridge and the section along the fields at the edge of Wängle. With its gentle incline and descent, it is perfectly suited for beginners, advanced skiers, and those who ski for pleasure.

Trail Entry and Parking
The entry point is directly at the Hirschbachalm, or via the Höfener Feld circuit with parking available at the Schollenwiesenlift. For public transport, the best option is the Wängle Winkl bus stop, which is close to the trail. Further schedule information can be found at www.vvt.at.
