Route description

The Flimspitze Via Ferrata, located on the border between Ischgl and Samnaun, offers a varied climbing experience featuring slab, chimney, and ridge sections. The ascent begins at an altitude of 2,850 metres, is easily accessible, and boasts a compelling route facing southwest. The path navigates challenging chimneys and unstable terrain to a summit surge. The total climbing height is 80 metres, requiring around 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete. Conveniently reached from the Flimjochbahn mountain station, the approach takes just 15 minutes.

  • Arrival by public transport

    With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun.
