Approach

Ascend from the middle station to the Dresdner Hütte and follow the red markings north of the hut to the entrance (sign) on the east edge (15 min. from the middle station). The Dresdner Hütte can also be reached in a good 1.5 hours from the valley (path directly under the cable car).

Descent

From the exit along the ridge to the summit. From there follow the ridge to the west and then descend on tracks to a small mountain lake, from there back to the Dresdner Hut (35 min. from the summit to the hut). For the descent to the valley, the path through the Wilde Grube is recommended (descend from the ridge in a westerly direction), but ski slopes have also been blasted into the mountain there. If you have a little more time, choose the scenically impressive path over the Mutterberger See lake and get back to the valley (2 hrs).
