Via ferrata Muttekopfhütte / Wasserfall via ferrata

Imst
Difficulty ratings: B/C
Duration: 1:30 h
Altitude: 40 hm

It doesn't have to be the difficult Imster via ferrata. Its smaller, child-friendly brother, the waterfall via ferrata at the Muttekopfhütte, is also fun.

We recommend because

Short, sporty, suitable for children: the modern, 100-metre-long waterfall via ferrata near the Muttekopfhütte above Imst is ideal for families (with older children or teenagers), beginners or a short training round. The most challenging section - a steep wall with difficulty level C - can be tackled right at the start. After that, the route alternates between A and B/C. Despite its short length, the topography is varied with a waterfall, slab climbing, a bridge, large boulders and an exposed hanging section. The ascent is by chairlift (Alpjochbahn), 50 minutes from the mountain station. Can be combined with the Imster via ferrata.
