Approach

From there you walk to the Gletscherstube and then follow the old trail towards the Braunschweiger Hut until the marked turning to the via verratas (on the left side of the trail). Approx. 1 h

Descent

You reach the starting point of the via ferrata in 20 minutes via the hiking path.

Route description

Murmeltiersteig: The "Murmeltier"-variant becomes progressively more challenging and rewards you with climbing over granite. Where necessary, footholds are provided. However, you still get a lot of direct contact with the rock. This route is perfectly suitable for children from 10 years (perhaps with additional securing). Maximum level of difficulty is C on a scale from A to E. (330m length)
