Via ferrata Klamml via ferrata

Ellmau
Difficulty ratings: D
Duration: 1:15 h
Altitude: 110 hm

- Short, crisp via ferrata on the Wilder Kaiser - Exit possible before the D crux - Two-rope bridge as a highlight

We recommend because

Short but tough via ferrata on the south side of the Wilder Kaiser. Located directly above the Klamml path, which connects the Gaudeamushütte and the Gruttenhütte (nearby). The ferrata is divided into two sections. The first, lower section with difficulty level C is relatively moderate. This is followed by a two-rope bridge over a deep abyss, which requires some courage. Then it is possible to exit and begin the second section in grade D. Very steep passages, only recommended if section 1 has been mastered well. The entire route requires surefootedness, stamina and a head for heights. Very well secured, but only a few footholds in places. Guided tours once or twice a week between May and October.
