Route description

The only winter climbing route in Tyrol is a meeting point for all ski tourers enthusiasts. It lies in the Rendl area, is 850 metres long, safeguarded with a steel cable, and is regarded as scenically charmingly.

For skiers and snowboarders, St. Anton am Arlberg has been the absolute ultimate for a long time, of course touring fans also rave about it. One of the reasons is the winter climbing route in the Rendl ski area, it is the only one in Tyrol and moreover scenically beautiful.

The start of the climbing route lies almost directly at the top station Riffl II whereby a long strenuous incline unfolds. Here it follows along the Rifflgrate to the front Rendlspitze at 2816 meters up to the Rossfalls gap at 2732 meters.
Approximately 20% of the way must be climbed directly over rocks, the rest is straightforward going.
