"Hideaway" is probably the term that best describes the Tannheimer Tal. Not because the region is difficult to find (on the contrary, it can even be reached without a motorway tax sticker), but because there really are many hidden natural treasures and playgrounds here and you can also follow in the footsteps of the smugglers of yesteryear - completely stress-free, of course. The Haldensee and Vilsalpsee lakes, on the other hand, are clearly visible from afar and offer a chance to cool off and enjoy nature after an eventful hike. If that's not enough, you can get an overview from a hot air balloon or change your perspective on the high ropes course. And at the Tanni kids' club, the whole week is dedicated to crafting, experimenting and trying things out.
Further information about the region and the family-friendly offers - such as the weekly children's and youth programme - can be found on the official website of the tourism association.
