If it's too rainy or cold for the summer toboggan run, the high ropes course or the many themed trails, you finally have a good excuse to stay indoors in summer - in the indoor pool with the tyre slide or the trampoline park, for example. There are plenty of opportunities to experience water here: from the Serleswasser to the Klaus Äuele playground to the Wilde-Wasser-Weg, where you can hike along the Ruetz past the Grawa waterfall to the many mountain lakes in the region. And older children can even try their hand at rafting, canoeing and stand-up paddling as part of the youth programme, while younger children can build dams, do handicrafts and go on exciting treasure hunts.
Further information about the region and the family-friendly offers - such as the weekly children's and youth programme - can be found on the official website of the tourism association.
