Knappensteig, planetary nature trail, knights' forest circuit (with suspension bridge!), Wolfsklamm gorge, up to the Loas for a schnitzel meal - these are just a few of the arguments that children can use to motivate their parents to go hiking. And if there isn't a hike on the programme, there's always Tratzberg Castle, the Schwaz silver mine (with the mine railway, of course) or the "upside-down house", where the world really is upside down and you'll be amazed in Dinoland and the wax museum. The mystical Schwaz Silver Forest and, of course, the Karwendel Nature Park, where there is plenty on offer for children, especially in the Eng. The children's programme also includes animal activities: alpaca hikes, farm visits and a trip to the horse ranch give parents the opportunity to organise their holiday just as they wish.
Further information about the region and the family-friendly offers - such as the weekly children's and youth programme - can be found on the official website of the tourism association.
