At 3,250 metres above sea level is probably the highest adventure playground in Europe: in the Glacier Flea Park, kids (and their parents too, of course) compete in races on the tubing track, struggle to keep their balance on the snow carousel and then hike deep into the belly of the glacier in the Spannagl Cave or the Natural Ice Palace. Those who prefer the warmth of summer can stay in the valley and learn exciting facts about the region's glaciers, animals, plants, water worlds and gorges on themed trails suitable for children. And if the adults fancy a challenging hike, the kids can let off steam and do arts and crafts as part of the children's and youth programme and try out cool sports.
Further information about the region and the family-friendly offers - such as the weekly children's and youth programme - can be found on the official website of the tourism association.
