Gastronomy Kaltenbacher Skihütte 1.800 m - Hochzillertal

"cozy - rustic - Tyrolean!" These terms apply to the Kaltenbach Skihütte. Enjoy the fantastic mountain panorama on the large terrace or feel comfortable in the rooms of our traditional ski hut. We are located at an altitude of 1,800 m and are located directly on one of the most beautiful Alpine roads in Austria - the Zillertal High Alpine Road, which is only open in summer. In winter you will find us at the departure of the 6-seater chairlift "Neuhütten". You reach this lift when you drive to the north at the mountain station of the gondolas. Many walks are possible from the Kaltenbacher Skihütte, for example to the Arbiskopf (2,068m) or our local mountain - the Gedrechter (2,317m). There is also something for our little guests. The good-bourgeois cuisine spoils you all day with both traditional Zillertal delicacies and venison specialties from our own gates of our game breeding. Chef Stefan Schweiberer personally prepares Zillertal delicacies, such as Kasspatzln, Kaiserschmarren or bacon dumplings, as well as classic dishes. Have you ever tasted a wonderful stag goulash?
