Red but beaming faces everywhere. Every year, up to a thousand happy athletes, inspired by their experience of nature, arrive at the finish line of the Zillertal Ibex March.
This hiking event has had the character of a folk festival for decades. Young and old alike set off at the crack of dawn to cover the 30 kilometers in high alpine terrain. Despite the great fun factor, participants should be in good physical condition and, above all, be sure-footed and have a head for heights.
