"What's the weather like?" This is probably the most frequently asked question on the day before the carnival in Nassereith. Nothing should stand in the way of the eagerly awaited Schellerlaufen.
The locals in Nassereith start to get excited as early as Epiphany in January. The carnival committee is elected, the main masks are raffled off, the traditional "Fasnachtsuache" and the "Schalleprobiere" are an integral part of the preparations for the Schellerlaufen. The weeks leading up to the big event seem a little magical. Guests can be wonderfully infected by this anticipation of the big Schellerlaufen.
