Event Ebbser Koasamarsch

Ebbs, on 13. Jun 2026

When trail runners in the Kaiser Mountains once again "star" in such a way that even the chamois become envious, we know: The Koasa March has begun again.

We recommend because:

  • everything from relaxed valley hikes to challenging trail runs
  • the views along the way burn themselves into your memory
  • the traditional Koasa march is simply a classic

Description

The Zahme Kaiser, the Wilder Kaiser and the idyllic Kaisertal - they all become the stage for the traditional Koasamarsch every year. Seven different competitions for hiking and trail running enthusiasts of all abilities are on the program. The start and finish of all routes is at the school center in Ebbs, where live music and delicious delicacies ensure a good atmosphere.

The hiking groups are the first to set off at 5 a.m. into the Kaiser Mountains and through the Kaisertal valley. The longest hiking route is the "Koasa-33er Wanderung", a 33-kilometre tour via the Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte, the Hochalm and the Hinterbärenbad, where 1,910 meters of altitude have to be covered. The 20-kilometre hike is slightly shorter - but there are also easier family circular hikes that lead either five or 12 kilometers through the Inn Valley.

The three trail runs are even more challenging. The longest of them, the anniversary trail "KOASA-55-Panorama-Trail", leads over 55 kilometers and 3,900 meters in altitude to the Fritz-Pflaum-Hütte.

The "KOASA Classic Run" (33 km, 1,730 m elevation gain) and the "KOASA Hell Ride" (20 km, 1,000 m elevation gain) are also a wonderful opportunity for many to test their limits!
