Almost "hara-kiri": anyone who indulges in the "white rush" in St. Anton am Valluga can truly call themselves a "wild dog". It is also an experience for spectators.
The atmosphere is particularly good here. Participants and spectators alike get their adrenaline pumping when hundreds of people plunge down the Valluga right at the start of the mass start. It can get dangerous here. However, the fact that it's not just about athletic performance, but also about fun, can be guessed from one or two of the athletes' outfits. At the latest when the skiers and snowboarders tear their equipment off their legs to conquer a snow hill on foot, they can laugh out loud. At the end, special achievements are duly celebrated with prize money and trophies.
