Music video "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran: The filming locations
In October 2021, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran was filming a new music video for his hit "Perfect" in Zillertal. We have researched the exact filming locations.
At the beginning of the video, you can see an ÖBB Railjet travelling over the Trisanna bridge on the Arlbergbahn line. However, the snow-covered mountain in the background was cheated into the picture afterwards.
Ed Sheeran gets off the Zillertalbahn railway at Mayrhofen station and then waits for friends with Zoey Deutch in the panorama bar of the Tuxer Fernerhaus.
There is a pure mountain hut feeling thanks to photos from mountain huts on the Sommerberg. However, these are privately owned and cannot be booked for a holiday.
If you want to party après-ski like Ed Sheeran, the Hohenhaus Tenne in Hintertux is the place to be. It is located directly at the valley station of the Hintertux Glacier cable car. Joe's Pizzaeck can also be found in the Hohenhaus Tenne.
The sunset was filmed on the Gefrorene Wand at 3,250 metres, and the lifts and ski slopes of the Hintertux Glacier can also be seen.
