Hintertux Glacier in summer

The barrier-free ascent to the Hintertux Glacier on the world's highest bicable gondola lift is an experience in itself. The view from the panoramic terrace stretches as far as the Grossglockner, the Dolomites and the Zugspitze. A glacier tour, cave trekking or an ascent of the local mountain Olperer offer sporting challenges. For adventurous glacier fans, there is a special children's world with a tubing track and snow for great snowball fights. In the Sommerberg flea park, there is a climbing wall and pedal go-karts for play adventures.

An exciting adventure course with tricky puzzles awaits around the Sommerberg hiking area from mid-June. Together with glacier flea Luis, sleuths experience an exciting hike with a treasure trove of riddles. Little glacier detectives explore interactive stations and learn more about the mystery of the glacier in a fun way. The treasure map is available from the ticket office at the valley station in Hintertux.
