The "Zottl," as the Scottish Highland cattle are also called, enjoy a lot of freedom to move and care in their open stable at Zottlhof. During the summer months, the woolly cows with their calves and bulls spend their time in the pasture or on the high alpine meadows, enjoying fresh herbs and grasses for most of the year. In winter, they are spoiled with fragrant hay in the open stall from Zottlhof. This leads to the creation of premium specialties such as Kaminwurzen, homemade sausages, or various meat specialties, which are offered by order and in the adjacent farm shop. Here, visitors can also meet the Zottl for a private tour and petting sessions during the winter months. Wheelchair users can also easily access Zottlhof.

Zottlhof offers numerous opportunities for unforgettable winter moments. At the Zottlhof Cinema - an exclusive experience of a special kind - one learns many interesting facts about Highland cattle. And for those who simply want to unwind and enjoy the unique panorama, this can be done at an exclusive winter picnic by the fire basket or at a mountain brunch by the campfire.

In addition, various natural products "Tiroler Heutraum" are offered, made from handpicked herbs from the fields in the beautiful Leutaschtal. The product range includes Tiroler mountain meadow hay jelly, syrups, and “scented” vinegar and liqueur specialties.
