Wilder Kaiser Chocolate
Chocolate meets alpine herbs
The chocolate specialties from the chocolate factory Wilder Kaiser by Günther Mavec make your mouth water. The trained confectioner produces a variety of delicacies: milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate are refined with Alpine herbs from the Wilden Kaiser.
For each of the basic varieties, a special herbal oil from at least seven herbs is produced: High-quality organic herbs from the Wilder Kaiser are placed in an aromatic organic thistle oil for two months and thus release their active ingredients into the oil. The organic herbal oil is used to refine the taste of the chocolate.
High quality starting products
Dark chocolate is mixed with sweet herbs, to white chocolate also fit spicier notes of taste. Not only the herbal oil is used by Günther Mavec to give his chocolates a very special touch: Even dried, the herbs are used. They adorn the hand-made chocolate bars and make them a visual feast for the eyes. In addition to the dark, light and white chocolate bars, Günther Mavec produces chocolates, nougat slices and much more.
The raw materials of the chocolate are all certified organic and fair: The organic cocoa "Fino de Aroma" comes from Ecuador, the organic cane sugar from Paraguay, the organic milk powder from the milk of organic farms within a radius of about 50 kilometers won. During production, the chocolate is conched for hours, which makes it particularly tender melting on the tongue and palate. There, the Wilder Kaiser chocolate from the manufactory in Kössen unfolds its full aroma.
Loving handwork
Handmade, the chocolates may be named because they are processed by hand: the melted chocolate is spread on a marble top. Günther Mavec moves the liquid chocolate on the cold stone in a controlled manner to temper it in this way. When the desired temperature has been reached, the mass is filled into the molds by means of a spray bag. These are gently shaken to avoid air bubbles. The dried herbs or petals are distributed by hand and gently land on the surface of the still warm chocolate.
In the Wilder Kaiser chocolate factories, attention is paid not only to the intrinsic values, but packaging and product design are also designed to meet the high demands of producers and customers: the chocolate bars are packed by hand in attractive boxes, larger quantities are delivered in wooden boxes.
Perfect chocolate pleasure
The Wilder Kaiser chocolates are distributed by selected retailers throughout Europe: In Austria, the chocolates are sold directly to customers, above all around the Wilder Kaiser, in Linz, Vienna and Graz. In Germany, partner companies offer the high-quality chocolates in their assortment. The exquisite products can also be found online at selected retailers - such as Wein & Co.
Companies and bulk buyers have the possibility to have special editions specially made according to their wishes. If such a large order is due, Günther Mavec receives support from his family. After all, every move must be done by hand - just as the word manufactory foresees.
