At 1,100 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps, lies a paradise for families, animal and nature lovers. Aurach Wildlife Park is home to over 300 alpine and exotic animals such as kangaroos, llamas and even Tibetan yaks.
In an open-air enclosure covering 40 hectares, with no dividing fences or walls, visitors can get very close to the animals. The petting barn is always a special event for children in the wildlife park. Rabbits, donkeys, goats, llamas and sheep love to be stroked.
Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday at 1.30 p.m. there is a supervised feeding especially for children in the Streichlstadl. The impressive game feeding at the large feeding area takes place at 2.30 pm, except during the rutting season in the fall. The cozy Branderhofstube restaurant with its large sun terrace and children's playground is located directly in front of the entrance to the wildlife park.
The Aurach Wildlife Park has a unique location with a panoramic view of the Kitzbuhel Alps and is Tyrol's largest open-air enclosure.
directly at the park.
