Attraction Viewing platform on the Valluga peak

St. Anton am Arlberg

Built in 1955, the platform on the Vallugaspitze is a real classic among viewing points. We are already looking forward to the ascent with the three cable cars, which all use different technology - it will be an adventure with far-reaching views.

We recommend because

  • Circular viewing platform at an altitude of 2,811 meters on the Tyrol/Vorarlberg border
  • fantastic view of the Lechtal, Ötztal and Allgäu Alps and the Verwall Group
  • accessible via 3 gondola lifts: Galzigbahn and Vallugabahn I + II

Description

With its fabulous wrap-round views, Valluga, "The Roof of Arlberg" at 2,811m is a not to be missed attraction. On clear days, the views extend from Lake Constance to Switzerland and the Zugspitze Mountain. The gondola ride to Steißbachtal 250m below is an experience in itself.
