Tratzberg Castle originally served as a border fortress against Bavaria and has been transformed from a medieval castle into a high-tech museum: You can take a virtual tour through the rooms or experience historical events "live" on a virtual reality journey through time. Numerous hidden secret passages are waiting to be discovered.
Almost no other aristocratic estate has managed to retain so much of its original building structure as Tratzberg Castle. Visitors find Tratzberg Castle’s original interior particularly fascinating. Guests are accompanied by an exceptionally entertaining audio tour of the castle, where traces of Tratzberg Castle’s former inhabitants can be found everywhere. There are also children's tours and evening tours combined with dinner at the Schlosswirt.
