The Seefelder forest graveyard is situated beside the roundabout on Römerweg (near the bypass road). It was established in 1947 as the final resting place of 63 Jewish concentration camp prisoners who were shot or died of complete physical exhaustion and emaciation shortly before the end of World War II in the Seefeld area, coming on transport from a camp.
A memorial stone placed in the upper left part of the cemetery was transformed into a dignified memorial in 2016 by the artist & architect Michael Prachensky through an art installation worth seeing, in order not to let this march be forgotten. The soldiers who died in the military hospitals in Seefeld also found their final resting place at the cemetery. Later, the site was expanded into Seefeld's general cemetery, where celebrities such as the writer Julius Kiener and the poet Lilly von Sauter are buried. Also worth seeing is the monument to the unborn child.
