Glass Art - Tiroler Glashütte RIEDEL Glass in Kufstein

It’s warm in the glassworks of RIEDEL in Kufstein. During a factory tour, visitors can observe from a gallery how a glass or decanter is created – with the utmost care, hand-blown and handcrafted.

The modern, light-filled 300-square-meter flagship store and outlet of the glass company is an integral part of the Kufstein location. With personalized advice from expert staff, the core question of RIEDEL’s glass philosophy, “Which glass for which wine?”, is explained competently.

The RIEDEL Museum is divided into three sections. The Riedel Family Museum highlights the drama, setbacks, and successes of multiple generations, while the Glass Cabinet offers a journey through the history of glassmaking. Following the Glassmakers’ Museum, visitors can now explore the factory, culminating in the Sinnfonie experience.

The Sinnfonie is a multimedia show where you can learn more about the interaction between glass and wine and experience it with all five senses.

  Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
  Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
  Open on Advent Saturdays (November 30, December 7, 14, and 21) until 4:00 PM.
  On Fridays and Saturdays, mulled wine is served in the shop!
  On December 24 and 31, the flagship store and outlet close at 1:00 PM.

  Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday: 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM
  Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
  Open on Advent Saturdays (November 30, December 7, 14, and 21) until 5:00 PM.
• Factory Tour Opening Hours:
  Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
  The factory is closed from December 23, 2024, to January 6, 2025, inclusive.
• Public Tours:
  Monday to Friday at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM.
  Buses, travel groups, school groups, and family tours are available upon prior booking at sinnfonie@riedel.com.
