Description

A nature park centre in the middle of a bridge is probably unique in the Alps. From the centre of the Klimmbrücke bridge near Elmen, you have a wonderful view of the wide riverbed of the Lech, probably the last untamed wild river in the northern Alps. The building houses the nature park administration and informs visitors about the special features and rare animals and plants of this unique natural landscape. The outdoor area is also ideal for a relaxing break, for example for cyclists and hikers travelling along the Lech and Lech cycle paths. While older visitors learn more in the open-air exhibition, children can let off steam in the nature playground with climbing facility and green labyrinth.
