Kramsach

This makes "history lessons" fun for us too: at the Museum of Tyrolean Farms in Kramsach, you literally walk through the past. 37 authentic farmhouses and outbuildings have been erected on a large open space and provide fascinating insights into the life and work of the Tyrolean rural population.

We recommend because

  • 37 original farmhouses and outbuildings
  • Interactive walk through Tyrol's past
  • Audio and video stations breathe new life into history

Description

14 original farmsteads and 23 outbuildings from all over Tyrol can be explored inside and out.

With a touch of nostalgia, the farmhouses with their charming details can be discovered as impressive witnesses to this vanished culture. This also includes the many outbuildings, such as the sawmill, mill, smithy, threshing floor and the two chapels, which, like all the other houses, have been carefully dismantled and rebuilt here in the museum.

The old school in particular is enchanting with its charm and brings days long gone back to life. The museum is enlivened by free-range animals and colorful farm gardens.

Highlight event: Big church day every year at the end of September (not included in the Alpbachtal Card!)

Fun for children at the Museum of Tyrolean Farms

Children experience the Museum of Tyrolean Farms in a very special way: with lots of games, quiz stations, puzzles and interactive elements. Exciting hours are guaranteed!

There is also a large playground at the Rohrerhof inn at the entrance to the museum.
