The MEMORIAL at the “Krapferhäusl” A memorial was erected at the Krapferhäusl south of Aschau to commemorate the battle during the Tyrolean fight for freedom on November 6, 1809 at Klausnereck on the occasion of the 100th anniversary celebrations (1909). It consists of an obelisk with a bust. The inscription particularly emphasizes: Speckbacher's adjutant Jakob Riedl from Haslach, who later fought in the Lützow Free Corps, his brother Sebastian, who forged relationships for Andreas Hofer as far away as England, as well as Josef Winkler (Blauseppl), the leader of the riflemen at Klausnereck, and the Stummer Schützen commander Josef Ebster.
