Many years ago, the remains of the walls of the St. Martin's Chapel could still be seen where the modern round building - the Martha Chapel - designed by architect Franz Ladner from Zams - stands today. In 1992, a small group of women from Ischgl decided to build a chapel, and the building site was provided by the municipality of Ischgl. The consecration to St. Martha is perfectly fitting for a tourist destination where hospitality is paramount.
