Description

21 rooms spread over 3 storeys in a typical Tirolean farmhouse comprise the Sixenhof village museum. Various exhibitions showcase how people used to work, hunt and live centuries ago. Numerous exhibits from hunting, fishing, firefighting, shipping and the timber industry document the lives and times of the forebears in this region.
For over 20 years in the Advent and Christmas season the centuries-old barn of the historic Sixenhof has been the venue for a nativity scene complete with life-size figures and live animals. Visitors will be presented an alpine version of the Christmas story.
