At an altitude of 2,020 metres above sea level, Kühtai is already higher than some mountain huts. This unique location makes the village an absolute paradise for skiing and hiking. In winter, Kühtai is the highest ski resort in Austria. In summer, it's the highest starting point for hikes. The resort captivates visitors with its crystal clear mountain lakes embedded in the high mountain landscape. Kühtai is best reached by car, as it is only around 40 kilometres or a 45-minute drive from Innsbruck, the capital city of Tyrol.
